The Real World.

"Welcome to the real world."

The 'RealWorld' section of this site demonstrates how a newly awakened mind (consciousness) endeavours to make sense of the hostile world it finds itself in.

Non-mystical (unplugged) awareness is the difference between the RealWorld and the Matrix (Click here for detailed explanation). When, metaphorically, we say we are in the RealWorld it means our consciousness is relatively free of the virus (a disease of consciousness) that keeps us from seeing the world as it really is.

"Mysticism is action based on dishonest irrationalities and mind-created "realities". Mysticism evokes, accepts, or uses unreal notions that create problems where none exist. Contrary to popular belief, mysticism today seldom involves god-type religions or the occult. God religions and the occult are dying forms of mysticism with fading powers to hurt the productive class. More generally, mysticism is the dishonesty that evolves from using feelings or rationalizations to generate mind-created "realities". In turn, those "realities" create unnecessary problems and unnatural destructions. Unnecessary and unnatural because the human brain cannot create reality. Instead, the brain perceives and then integrates facts of reality in order to control reality."

This virus concept is illustrated in a scene from the film when the Agents implant Neo with a bug. Later, Trinity tells Neo they must protect themselves from him because he has been infected. When she extracts the bug, Neo exclaims: "Jesus! That thing is real." There are many references to Jesus in the first film, it is, after all reflecting the Matrix.

As we continue you will develope your own interpretations of the Matrix metaphors. This will assist you in understanding the world around you, and who you are. What you are will be revealed later.nn

You will discover that the navigation buttons on the left differ from the links on the Matrix site in that they will take you to different type articles, news, etc.

It is, however, better to begin on the Matrix section of the site.Starting there with a curious examination before returning here to repeat the process will give you a better feel of why the site is constructed in the way it is.

The RealWorld is where/when mind begins to become conscious of itself (this is known as apperception: "the introspective or reflective apprehension by the mind of its own inner states" ) and of the irrationalities inherent in what we mistakenly believe to be the actual world. We are usually unaware off any of this until

Your have probably been vaguely aware there is something deeply wrong with the world you experience: "Like a splinter in your mind." But now you are going to 'see' it for yourself...

Neo: "Why do my eyes hurt?" Morpheus: "You have never used them before."

A mistake most people, who embark on this journey, make when they 'escape' from the Matrix, they think they are free. But as agent Smith tells Neo when they meet in the RealWorld for the first time: "But as you well know, appearances can be deceiving, which brings me back to the reason why we're here. We're not here because we're free, we're here because we're not free. There's no escaping reason, no denying purpose..."

Nevertheless, you will discover, as Neo did, there is an escape from control to freedom.

Paradoxically, as Moses saw the promised land but could never enter; in the same way, "I" can never experience true freedom. When understood this paradox will be the cause of great delight. However, to understand you must first: Know [what] Thy Self [is]

Neo: "It was a lie, Morpheus. The prophecy was a lie. The One was never meant to end anything. It was all another system of control."
